The UFCW Local 1059 Summer Internship is a five-week paid educational internship open to UFCW Local 1059 members. A maximum of four interns will work in the areas of servicing, collective bargaining, organizing and politics. The internship is not a permanent job.
Ideal candidates for the UFCW Local 1059 Summer Internship Program may have no experience volunteering with the union in the past but wish to take a more active role. Participants must be people-oriented, energetic, flexible and willing to work long hours on a sometimes unpredictable schedule. - Must be a Local 1059 member in good standing
- Must have a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle.
