Current and retired members of participating unions, their spouses and their dependent children (as defined by IRS regulations) are eligible. At least one year of continuous union membership by the applicant, applicant’s spouse or parent (if applicant is a dependent). The one year membership minimum must be satisfied by May 31, 2021. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $4,000. These one-time cash awards are for study beginning in the Fall of 2021. Students may re-apply each year.

Join UFCW members from all across Ohio to talk to your legislators about the issue that matter to working people. Travel to the statehouse as well as lunch are provided. RSVP with the Union and we’ll schedule your legislator appointments for you. All members will go into their legislator meetings with an experienced staff member for support. All members will have a brief training in the morning. More details TBA.
