Union members wishing to apply for this $1,500 scholarship good an accredited university or trade program should provide the following information in an email to scholarship[at]ufcw1059.com:

• Full Name
• Worksite (if you work in a store, ex: Kroger 543, CVS 1756, etc.)
• Cell phone number
• Address
• Biography of approximately 250 words

The winner must attend the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists MLK Day Brunch in January 2020 to receive scholarship. Proof of tuition billing will be necessary to get scholarship.

Join UFCW members from all across Ohio to talk to your legislators about the issue that matter to working people. Travel to the statehouse as well as lunch are provided. RSVP with the Union by May 10 and we’ll schedule your legislator appointments for you. All members will go into their legislator meetings with an experienced staff member for support. All members will have a brief training in the morning. More details TBA.

Entry limited to the first 36 foursomes. All foursomes must have at least two Local 1059 members. Golfers must arrive by 7:30 am at the Northstar Golf Club. The Golf Outing will be a scramble format. Contact Paul Smithberger to register.
